Chilli Cookoff
The Small Community Big Hearts will have their annual Chili Cook-off on October 4th along with the “Pink Night at the Park”.
The entry fee for the cook-off is $10.00 and the chili can be dropped off between 5:00 and 5:30 that evening at the park shelter house.
Voting will be done by community members. Winners will be announced at the end of the evening.

Settlement Made In Wrongful Death Case

Heritage Draws Large Crowd
This year, the Heritage Day Festival in Jamesport was proof, if you build it they will come. Space was sold out in the A.V. Spillman Event Center to vendors from as far away as, South Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. They came from hundreds of miles away to sell their wares. Even though the area outside on the property of the JCA is tight due to new construction of the grocery store and fire station, there were over ten different vendors set-up outside with the 40 vendor spaces inside.
