MDC Reminds Snaggers Paddlefish Season Begins March 15

MDC staff captured, tagged, and released this 117.5-pound paddlefish from Table Rock Lake in February. Information gathered from tag returns and creel surveys during the 2025 snagging season will help inform paddlefish management throughout Missouri’s reservoirs. Paddlefish season runs March 15 through April 30 with an extended season on the Mississippi River.
