Nila Myrl Campbell

Nila Myrl Campbell, a 95 year old former Kansas City, MO residence passed away on July 4, 2020.

Private family inurnment will be held at White Chapel Cemetery in Gladstone, MO at a later date.

Nila was born on August 17, 1924 in Jamesport, MO the daughter of Leslie and Opal (Gant) Langford.

Nila graduated from Jamesport High School in 1942. In 1944 she married the love of her life; Jerry, whom she shared 72 wonderful years. Both were active members of Northgate Baptist Church. Nila retired from Cole Harford Company as a Commissions Clerk. She then enjoyed time with her family, sewing, crafting, and activities within her church. During the last few years she has resided at Senior Care Homes of Overland Park Kansas; and was treated with the greatest respect, love, and care; for which the family will always

be grateful.

Survivors include sister, Hazel Fleck of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Vicki Sharp and her husband Dr. Stanley Sharp of Prairie Village, KS; son, Dennis Campbell and his wife Vacha Campbell of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Colleen and Vach Campbell, Jesse, Sara and Courtney Sharp; and two great grandchildren, Ember and Caleb.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; her brother, Ralph Langford of Jamesport, MO; and Mary Kaye Miller of Pollock Pines, CA.
